Overview: Designed to get students inspired about their future, this six hours course helps students self-evaluate and discover what they want after high school. We motivate students to get curious and start exploring possible avenues that may interest them early in their academic career so they can focus their energy wisely. We discuss careers, salaries, higher education, student debt, and help students find personal direction.

Importance
Students who think about their future plans early in their academic careers have direction, helping them focus their energy, set goals, and maintain motivation.
Unfortunately, most young adults do not think about their future and advance into college without a good idea of where their future is going. They leave college with a degree they will never use, a student loan payment, and an “I wish I knew that” attitude.
At Peak Scholars, we do not expect our students to design a five year plan or know exactly what they want to be when they grow up. We simply focus on finding a direction rather than a set plan and motivate students to get curious about their future. It is a big world out there, filled with tons of careers and job paths. The sooner a students identify careers that spark their interest, the sooner they can build experience and pursue opportunities.
