Importance

Technology is both a blessing and a curse for middle school students. Distractions, addictions, and bad habits are easily amplified with devices. The sooner students develop strong technological study skills, the faster they can finish their assignments, study, and then focus their attention to their friends, group chats, Snap Chats, and Instagrams.

On the positive side, by decreasing distractions, we inevitable increase productivity and can begin to form strong technological study skills, such as quality research, effective note-taking, utilizing educational apps and more.

At Peak Scholars, we want our students to use quality resources such as technology but also understand how detrimental technology can be to their academics.

Embrace technology while practicing self awareness.
